London properties providing cycle storageLondon properties providing cycle storage
New housing developments in south-east London are featuring secure cycle parking spaces in order to accommodate the growing trend of two-wheeled travel in the capital.
Those who are using bikes to commute to and from work and are looking for a new home in London may wish to consider City Quarter, a Berkeley Homes development in the E1 area of the city.
The site - which includes the new-build development Hoopers Yard - is located within Zone One, meaning it is a short riding distance away from many of the city's major employers.
One, two and three-bedroom properties are available within Hoopers Yard, with prices starting at £385,000 for a one-bedroom apartment.
"Making it easier for people to get on their bikes through provision of secure cycle racks is an important part of the green travel plans we are bringing in across all of our developments," Berkeley Homes' Piers Clanford remarked.
Elsewhere in the capital, properties at the new Maple Quays site in the Docklands' Canada Water are selling fast after the development opened last month.
