Swansea homes 'have rural appeal'

A new development in Swansea could be of interest to those in the market for a new home outside of the city centre.

Crymlyn Gardens, which is located in the village of Skewen, offers buyers a range of three and four-bedroom properties in a "semi-rural location", with prices starting at £144,995 for a three-bed home.

And those looking to part-exchange their current property in order to move home can take advantage of an offer from developer Barratt Homes - which is also offering buyers up to £1,000 per month until 2010 to help pay their mortgage.

Barratt Homes' sales director Adrian Bird described the location as a "pretty village with spectacular views".

"There is easy access to Swansea, but local amenities are excellent and include shops, schools, leisure centres, golf courses, country pubs and a train station," he added.

Barratt's offer is also in place at their Clover Mead and Monarch Fields developments in Telford with prices at the Clover Mead development starting at £186,000.ADNFCR-1100-ID-18809710-ADNFCR
