Durham village apartments now on saleDurham village apartments now on sale
First-time buyers in County Durham are being urged to check out new apartments built by Anvil Homes.
Priced from just £135,950, the apartments at the Bishops Close development in the village of Belmont are ready to move into.
At present, the development comprises nine apartments, but these will soon be complemented by the creation of ten four-bedroom family homes.
The apartments are available with a choice of one or two bedrooms "and come with a well equipped kitchen, incorporating integrated appliances", according to a spokesperson for the housebuilder.
"The home is thoughtfully designed around a contemporary open plan living space to suit every lifestyle."
Bishops Close is two miles from the city of Durham, which saw house prices rise by 1.7 per cent in April or 3.9 per cent over the previous 12 months, according to the Land Registry.
